Upcoming classes On Thursday August 8 from 10-2 there will be a pincushion class at my studio. Here is a picture of the primitive doll pincushion. Well, actually I can't show you! If you would like to see her, email me and I'll send you a picture. I am not being coy! I just can't get it to show up! Once again my skills are lacking. We will make a different pincushion every month. Sharon C has a great collection of pincushion patterns so we can go on for years!! ############################################################# We have been working on this project out of  the fall issue of Primitive Quilts and Projects. Saturday we enjoyed the Sherwood Robin Hood Festival and Parade! It was fun to share in a day of Americana. nothing like a small town with advertisements from downtown businesses and dance teams, animals and girls working on their parade waves. Here are a few snapshots of the day. Of course we have Ronald! Can't tell but they had a bubble machine too. We walked from Ginny and Darren's down to the town and on the way back we stopped and smelled a lot of roses. An example of the beauty of the day. I think this has been one of the nicest summers that we've had in a long time. So far, no days that are too hot and all the rest are perfect. We went on a long ride home after the festivities and bought fresh blueberries and some vegetables at stands out in the country. We live in a beautiful state with wonderful things to see and do. It was an outstanding day. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Upcoming classes

Wedding and leaving

I have now spent another hour on the phone with Verizon trying to get at my pictures. They have amazing patience with people like me who do not understand. She finally showed me how to bi-pass the cloud and download my pictures onto my computer so that I can use them. I hope I don't have to call them again.  Now on to more fun topics. The wedding was beautiful. Jennifer and Hugo looked wonderful. The weather could not have been any better. Everything went as planned and we had a great time.   We called "the big house" where most of the wedding guests stayed . It was full of light and Jennifer made all the decorations that were hung in the windows.  She sewed garlands together to hang in doorways and in other windows. A Dutch word and the date of the wedding. There were lots of windows and she worked a long time to fill them with decor! View out the upstairs bedroom. Girls getting ready for the wedding hour!
