I'm pretty sure you won't be looking at your email tomorrow so I thought I'd write you today. You may not be looking today either! Most of us are working or getting ready for tomorrow.

I was invited to do a trunk show and a class with the Guild in the Gorge. Saturday, Loren drove me there and we set up a lot of my treasures. It was a beautiful day and the room we used had a spectacular view. It was a fun day and I met many new friends.

This coming Saturday is our Spargonian Day. 10-4 with lunch. 


Next Thursday is a Fall Class or Open Studio  10-4

and Friday will be our last First Friday class 10-4

New classes will be added in January so look for those coming soon.

When I was growing up my whole family lived in The Dalles. We all went to the same church and on Thanksgiving we would rent the PPand L building and have our meal there. Anyone else who wanted to come was welcome and I remember the tables being laden with beautiful food. 
When we had finished stuffing ourselves, my aunt and uncle would play their guitars and we would sing and enjoy the rest of the afternoon.

It was fun and a sweet memory. Tomorrow we will join friends and family at Ginny and Darren's home and a share new experiences. Many people are only in our memories now and that makes it bittersweet but we still go on sharing with those we love.

Camping in the Rain

 Hello Everyone,  We went camping at Barview Jetty a little while ago and it rained almost all the time we were there! On the way it was necessary to stop here at our favorite fish shop! Best shrimp, sauce, and clam chowder that we have found.  Excellent. We went there on the way to camp and on the way home. Even thought it rained so much, the clouds were spectacular. The sand had some cool patterns We had friends that camped next to us and we ate really well.  Some reading and stitching were also part of our days. A couple weeks ago we went to McIver park to camp. Again it rained almost the whole time we were there. Same friends kept us entertained and we continued with our eating really well. This is a reflection in the lake of the sun trying to come out. Mamma ducks and babies were enjoying the break in the rain. We have found out that our beloved Oscar has Prostate cancer and Cushings disease. It's a sad blow as we lost both our Silkies last year. We don't know how long we

Coming out of hibernation

 I decided it was time to bring my blog back to life. I thought about it for some time and decided it would be so nice to connect with friends again even if it's just with words. I have mostly enjoyed being at home and catching up with reading and sewing. My Etsy shop is doing well and I would like to share some of the things that are currently available.                                        I bought this tin in The Netherlands when I was recently there visiting my daughter and her family. They took me to a very cool old antique shop and they have Lots of tins. The shop had so many things that I would have liked to take home. But Not possible. This is another one!
