April Showers is Right
We just returned from a Motorhome trip. We went down 99 as far as we could to avoid I5. We were headed to Indian Mary campground on the Rogue River.
There weren't many people camping and it was nice to have the place to ourselves. It did rain a bit!!
grape vines and wild turkeys and a picnic by the river.
We traveled over hwy 138 and 38 to the coast. Trees were down on both sides of the highway . It was amazing.
We stayed a couple of nights at Beverly Beach. We like this park. They were taking down several trees and that was interesting to watch.
It looks just like it did when I went there with my family years ago. Cool swamp cabbage and weird old shaped trees.
Barview Jetty.....we stocked up on Shrimp, Scallops and Clam Chowder before arriving. We ate well. This campground has a Lot of driftwood. There was a very high tide one day and we had to scamper up a hill to avoid getting wet.
Oscar sunning himself.
Lastly we went to Nehalem Bay. A lot of rain!!
We have been here several times and it is a great place to stay, especially when there are hardly anyone else around!!
