Nora is 4 months old.

I must say she is pretty cute. I talked to Jennifer this morning and Nora was sleeping...it is evening in The Netherlands. Nora is doing great and learning to imitate her mother. We will miss them this holiday season but I look forward to seeing them in the spring.

Would any of you be interested in having a class during which we would make Quiet Books for babies? I want to make one for Nora and I think I need the inspiration of others to get me going. I have some supplies gathered and even have a video of some suggestions for pages. Let me know you thoughts.

OK, I don't want to tire you with too many pictures. I hope your plans for Thursday are going well. My grocery list is getting longer and longer. Lots of fun to plan and nice to gather with friends and family. We have so much to be thankful for.

    Nora is adorable! Isn't being a grandma great! Love seeing all the pictures! Especially Reet's projects - they are doing a wonderful job on them. Love her wool colors!

Camping in the Rain

 Hello Everyone,  We went camping at Barview Jetty a little while ago and it rained almost all the time we were there! On the way it was necessary to stop here at our favorite fish shop! Best shrimp, sauce, and clam chowder that we have found.  Excellent. We went there on the way to camp and on the way home. Even thought it rained so much, the clouds were spectacular. The sand had some cool patterns We had friends that camped next to us and we ate really well.  Some reading and stitching were also part of our days. A couple weeks ago we went to McIver park to camp. Again it rained almost the whole time we were there. Same friends kept us entertained and we continued with our eating really well. This is a reflection in the lake of the sun trying to come out. Mamma ducks and babies were enjoying the break in the rain. We have found out that our beloved Oscar has Prostate cancer and Cushings disease. It's a sad blow as we lost both our Silkies last year. We don't know how long we

Coming out of hibernation

 I decided it was time to bring my blog back to life. I thought about it for some time and decided it would be so nice to connect with friends again even if it's just with words. I have mostly enjoyed being at home and catching up with reading and sewing. My Etsy shop is doing well and I would like to share some of the things that are currently available.                                        I bought this tin in The Netherlands when I was recently there visiting my daughter and her family. They took me to a very cool old antique shop and they have Lots of tins. The shop had so many things that I would have liked to take home. But Not possible. This is another one!
