Cloudy March Day
I was almost finished writing this blog...saving it as I went, when all of a sudden....it was all gone. Now to do it all over again. I had to go and take a short nap to get up to the task of remembering what it was I wrote before! I am not particularly impressed!
So here goes!
I did write a little about the day trip that Loren and I took to the beach. We went to Tillamook, all three dogs coming with us. We had some breakfast and then went to
for some dessert. I had chocolate chip mint in a cup and it was delicious. Armed with some cheese we went on up the coast looking for shrimp cocktail for lunch.
Arriving at the place in Garibaldi, I think,
where we usually go for shrimp.....one place was closed and the other place had NO shrimp. On we went stopping at a few places to look around we made it to Cannon Beach where it was pouring rain.
We found our shrimp cocktail and fish and chips. It was a delicious end to a nice day and we headed home. It's nice to just go off on a small adventure once in a while.

Here are the classes on the schedule for the rest of the month of March
This Thursday the 17th is Maggie B day 10-4 with lunch
We work on Maggie Bononami projects but you are welcome to bring any hand work to do with us.
Saturday the 19th is Open Studio 10-4 with lunch
Monday the 21 is Knit Day 10-4 with lunch
We all have some fun knitting pattern going. Someone always finds something new to do and we all want to do it too.
Saturday the 26 is Spargonian Day 10-4 with lunch
Most of us have a Sue Spargo design in progress but you are welcome to bring whatever you ar working on and stitch with us.

Monday the 28th is Penny Rug day 10-4 with lunch
Even though many of us are making a penny rug of some kind, you can do anything you like
Wednesday the 30th is Open Studio 10-4 with lunch

This is from a kit by Cee Rafuse. Several of us purchased penny rug and log cabin kits from her.
I've been working on this quilt for my Dutch baby. She turns 2 in the summer and I hope to give it to her then.
