Saturday we enjoyed the Sherwood Robin Hood Festival and Parade! It was fun to share in a day of Americana. nothing like a small town with advertisements from downtown businesses and dance teams, animals and girls working on their parade waves. Here are a few snapshots of the day.
Of course we have Ronald!
Can't tell but they had a bubble machine too.
We walked from Ginny and Darren's down to the town and on the way back we stopped and smelled a lot of roses. An example of the beauty of the day. I think this has been one of the nicest summers that we've had in a long time. So far, no days that are too hot and all the rest are perfect. We went on a long ride home after the festivities and bought fresh blueberries and some vegetables at stands out in the country. We live in a beautiful state with wonderful things to see and do. It was an outstanding day.
This Saturday is Prairie Women's Day and the Spargonian Fun Day. I hope all of you will be able to come. We will be getting our last pattern for this series in the Prairie Women's group. We hope to begin again in September with Journey number 2. In August we will be having a review day and a little party to celebrate our first journey .
This is the cover of Journey number Two. Something to look forward to.
This is a picture of Imperial Blooms. Some of will be working on this quilt during the Spargo class. Not mandatory, just a suggestion!
This afternoon I will have part II of this blog with some pictures of upcoming classes at my Studio. I work at Pioneer Quilts today and must get on my way!
See you later in the day.
