Friday at the Sandy Quilt Show

Friday was the first day of the show in Sandy. Lots of nice quilts and vendors.

Here are a few pictures of my space and some of the quilts in the show. You have Sunday from 12-4 to come view them for yourself. I know you will enjoy them if you can come.

Well, for some reason it won't upload my pictures that I took with my camera. Tomorrow I will take more with my phone and  see what that might do. I haven't had trouble with that application before. Still learning I guess.  Sorry for the inconvenience.


It has been fun sitting and stitching and visiting with visitors and my neighbors from Quilters Corner. I will be sad when tomorrow is over and I bring it all home. Although, now I can rearrange all my quilts at home.

It was a good thing that my open studio was scheduled for the day it was because I just barely escaped the snow! It was a fun day and many friends stopped by to see where I love to sew. A friend who I hadn't seen in years, Joy, came and I was so happy to see her again. When I owned The Quilting B, the best thing about being there was all the new friends I made. I probably would never met many of you if it hadn't been for those years! Thanks! Here are a few of the pictures from that day. Ellen came with her project and it is beautiful! My neighbor, Monica is helping me have a great time! Along with the stitching, it is a time to make more friends and to know each other a little better. Our dog, Oscar, loves to be with people. A Few Reminders

I don't know about you, but I am always checking my planner to see what comes next. I keep it all written down so I don't have to strain my brain to remember. Good thing because I forget a lot. With that in mind I am sending you some reminders of up coming events in my studio. If you look at the last couple of blogs you will see pictures of next classes that are planned. I guess if I'm going to get anything else written before 2013, I'd better get at it. Earlier this month Loren and I went to downtown Portland and watched the Tuba Christmas. It was held at Pioneer Courthouse Square and was beautiful. Listening to that many tubas outside was wonderful. It was a little misty and a bit cold but all crowded together, it wasn't bad. I love the old courthouse. Tried to get the flag billowing out, almost. It is such a beautiful old building. We don't have many buildings like this, we tear them down and make something new. nice tree...great back view of someones head! After watching for a while we went to.... Besides the greatest smelling cigars, they sell their wonderful cigar boxes. I was looking for a perfect one to give my daughter with a scarf that I knitted for her.
